EDI File Technician

Location: 100% Remote work

The EDI File Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of electronic data interchange (EDI) files within the CUBS and FACS systems. This position is responsible for tracking all incoming and outgoing EDI files, loading data into systems using defined procedures, monitoring load outcomes, and initiating corrective actions when discrepancies arise. The technician will serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, supporting data integrity and operational efficiency in collaboration with the EDI development team.

• File Monitoring and Tracking
  
  
  
  • Monitor and log all incoming and outgoing EDI files related to CUBS and FACS Systems.
  • Ensure timely receipt, validation, and processing of all data files.
  
  
  
  
• Data Loading and Processing
  
  
  
  • Load data to the CUBS and FACS systems according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Follow structured workflows and verify successful completion of system loads.
  
  
  
  
• Error Identification and Resolution
  
  
  
  • Conduct post-load reviews and audit results to identify data discrepancies or processing anomalies.
  • Escalate issues and initiate corrective action workflows in collaboration with the EDI development team.

  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, including development, operations, and support.
  • Coordinate with external partners and clients regarding file transmission status and issue resolution.
  
  
  
  
• Documentation and Compliance
  
  
  
  • Document all file processing activities and issue resolution in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with data handling protocols, privacy regulations, and security requirements.
  
  
  
  

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant technical certification preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in EDI file processing, data operations, or a similar technical role.
• Familiarity with CUBS and/or FACS systems is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot file load issues and collaborate on technical resolutions.

This role may involve working with secure and confidential data, requiring adherence to strict data security and privacy standards. Some after-hours or weekend availability may be required during system maintenance, and month end operations.
