Summary of This Role
Manages all aspects of complex technology projects undertaken by the Engineering Enablement Team seeking to drive the adoption of standardized tools, processes and metrics. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects in support of transformation initiatives and reports progress on a regular basis. Works closely with various stakeholder groups to drive systematic adoption of Point of Arrival tools, best practices and governance. Monitors risks and identifies, resolves, and escalates issues in order to minimize impact.
What Part Will You Play?
Leads and coordinates work for highly technical teams delivering on technology transformation initiatives Manages work and projects on a day-to-day basis for projects undertaken by the Engineering Enablement Team Understands department goals and communicates with other technical and business teams on day-to-day work and project delivery Works to support and develop positive relationships between teams. May represent the team in internal and external meetings, translating technical explanations and resolutions as needed Reviews and audits the technical work of members of the team. May manage work undertaken by contractors or third parties. Ensures compliance with all company and department policies and best practices Manages and monitors time, scope and cost for the projects based on the identified requirements. Identifies risks and issues and escalates as necessary Reports project status to stakeholders on a regular basis Provides input into Engineering Enablement plans and budgets. Manages resource allocation within the team on a day-to-day basis Drives all necessary financial and nonfinancial processes in support of the projects including establishing Statements of Work, Purchase Orders, Change Requests, Invoicing etc. Fosters a continuous improvement mindset. Manages recommendations for improvements and encourages the team to do likewise Collaborates with internal areas, such as Legal, Procurement, and Finance, as needed, to manage budgeting and contractual responsibilities and any associated impacts
What Are We Looking For in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered Typically a minimum of 6 years of related professional experience with a minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory position Must have at least 5 years previous experience as a developer in one or more of these technologies: Java, Javascript, Python, Node.js, Angular, and React Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and SDLC Experience with tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Maven and GitHub
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of DevOps, CICD and related automation to help improve productivity Working knowledge of Test and Quality excellence especially via Automation Cloud: GCP and AWS Previous experience with technology transformation in an enterprise environment is highly desirable Experience with FinTech is highly desirable
