As a Field Technician VI at Spectrum, you'll take charge of complex installations and troubleshooting for large enterprise clients. This position is also backwards compatible. What Our Field Technicians VI Enjoy Most About the Role Advanced Technical Mastery: Take pride in surveying, installing, and maintaining complex network products for large enterprises. Project Implementation and Network Support: Implement large multi-site projects, configure edge devices, and provide field support for optical connections. Working Conditions Our Field Technicians work outdoors, utilizing hand tools in a variety of environments. Required Qualifications Education High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. License Valid Driver's license with safe driving record within company standards required. Schedule Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary. Language Fluent in English. Experience Must be a Field Technician V and must have completed courses for Field Technician VI. Physical Walk over various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment. Safely use weight-bearing equipment (up to 345 lbs) and lift up to 75 lbs. Climb ladders up to 32 feet and work in confined spaces and at heights. Operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments. Work with small components and wires. Work outdoors for extended periods in any season and inclement weather. Preferred Qualifications Technical Knowledge Understanding of Spectrum products and services. Certifications NCTI Master Technician Certification, HFC Networks Certification, or SCTE Business Class Service Specialist.
