The Information Technology Manager - Data Responsible for the growth and development of members of the Data Warehouse including developers, BA/QA, and support staff.

This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE with a hybrid 50% in the office work environment. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

What will you do?

  • Supervise members of the Data Warehouse by providing regular guidance and instruction on technical and non-technical topics.

  • Responsible for communication with outside vendors, state regulatory representatives, internal product owners, subject matter experts, underwriters, other managers, and programmers to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve complex problems.

  • Coordinate and execute onboarding and training of Data Warehouse employees

  • Manage and determine activities of personnel by determining work procedures, issuing written and oral instructions, analyzing and resolving work problems, and assisting employees in solving work problems.

  • Oversee all aspects of data feeds and reports.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field

  • Experience working with Data Warehouses, Data Marts, etc.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

  • Data manipulation software

  • Insurance coverages and rating schemes and insurance products

  • Company and department practices and procedures

  • Cloud-based technologies ex.Azure (DevOps, Data Studio, etc.)

  • Identify problems and make decisions, train personnel, and organize workflow

  • Organize time and resources and handle multiple high priorities

  • Analyze Company business information needs and procedures
