Key Role Description

The Wholesale Marketing Specialist role includes a variety of tasks and responsibilities that support the Monroe Energy Wholesale Marketing Team, customer needs, and support processes associated with customer administration, contract management and terminal logistics. This role serves as the front-line communication to our customers, and this role is first and foremost customer service based: managing phone calls, emails, researching issues, and processing credits and rebills for our customers. Other responsibilities include contract management, inventory management, terminal loading numbers, ad-hoc reporting and process improvement projects. This role supports the team out of the Delta Headquarters office in Atlanta.

Key competencies and activities for this role include, but are not limited to the following:



Knowledge of Work Areas and Responsibilities - Customer Service Focused



  • Represents the wholesale marketing operations team for Monroe Energy
  • Processes credits and rebills for customers as needed
  • Manages and maintains wholesale contracts and contract process from start to finish (including drafting contracts and updating details into various systems)
  • Updates/publishes pricing into a pricing system to distribute to external counterparties as needed
  • Set up new accounts and maintain current accounts
  • Monitors day deals, inputs into Right Angle and manages volumes
  • Coordinates with the billing group to ensure accurate invoicing
  • Updates inventory levels and forecasts based on terminal reports
  • Manages customer product allocations
  • Produces daily, weekly and monthly reports for the team
  • Administrative duties (i.e.: set up meetings, order lunches, place orders for customer gifts, shipping)

Experience and Skills

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Adaptive learner, technical and/or analytical background
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
