This role is responsible for researching, collecting, and analyzing market data to provide strategic insights to senior management. The analyst will publish market size and composition data by segment, geography, and carrier, as well as develop future market forecasts. The goal is to equip leadership with fact-based market data to inform decisions on strategic positioning and tactical initiatives. What are the Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Research, extract, and manipulate data from multiple sources to create consolidated reports, utilizing tools like R, SQL, and statistical techniques to assess segment and product-level performance.
- Model Development and Deployment: Use model selection techniques to identify and deploy the best models for stated business objectives and develop new predictive models that lead to innovative solutions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop optimal solutions and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Utilize industry-standard tools, market research, and predictive modeling techniques to determine market membership segmentation and categorization, supporting market sizing and strategic planning activities.
- Process Improvement and Ad-hoc Support: Proactively identify opportunities to improve accuracy and techniques used in market analytics, develop new methodologies, and support ad-hoc reporting and assignments.
What is Required:
- 6+ years' work experience in the health or medical industry or equivalent
- Intermediate level experience leveraging reporting, analytical and intermediate to advanced level of writing SQL, SAS, or related coding language
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Office to include advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, VBA and macro coding)
- Experience with data publishing tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
- Experience delivering results on short notice, and with unstructured requirements
- Demonstrated relationship skills, active listening skills, and the ability to understand, translate, and communicate marketing and data concepts
- Bachelor's degree
What is Preferred:
- SQL certification
- Experience with healthcare industry data and knowledge of healthcare products
- Experience with market sizing and forecasting within the healthcare industry
- Master's degree

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $88,100 - $110,100, within a full annualized salary range of $88,100 - $143,100
