Job Duties: Associate, Sales with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Miami, Florida. Create comprehensive wealth management plans for ultra-high net worth individuals and families predominantly based in Brazil, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. Formulate and express investment views for clients' portfolios, fielding questions in English and Portuguese on what is happening in the markets, and outlining the Firm's investment thesis for the future, which encompasses all global asset classes, including public equities, fixed income, option derivative securities, foreign currencies, hedge funds, real estate, private equity and bank lending. Work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies. Support existing client relationships, as well as source and develop new business opportunities and a strong network of intermediaries in the local Brazil market. Deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of the firm's US-based trading authorization and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. Create asset allocation strategies and holistic wealth advisory recommendations to clients. Job Requirements: Master's degree or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and two (2) years of experience with a Master's or five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with a Master's or five (5) years of experience with a Bachelor's with: experience growing investor base and expanding revenues for a project or venture; experience screening investment opportunities, doing bottom-up market research and financial analysis of businesses in Latin America; experience networking with Ultra-High Net Worth individuals and institutional investors, scheduling meetings with potential investors, and building relationships in the process; experience with structuring and negotiating investment opportunities and raising capital from investors in Brazil; and understanding of Equity Valuation techniques such as DCF, SOTP and DDM to assess the attractiveness of investment opportunities on behalf of clients. Fluency in Portuguese required to communicate with Brazilian clients. Travel to Brazil is required to build relationships with clients. Travel up to 30% of the time is required.
