What you will do:

Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This internship is designed to provide you with positive work/training experience and challenging objectives for our Digital Solutions Open Blue business. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.

How you will do it:

* Summer 2025- possibility to stay additional time or repeat the following summer.
* Tasked with a specific project
* Attend provided enrichment/ development sessions
* Sales Data Analysis:
o Dive into sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
o Collaborate with the sales team to understand performance metrics and KPIs.
o Extract meaningful insights to guide strategic decisions.
* Power BI Development:
o Design and build interactive dashboards using Power BI.
o Visualize sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts.
o Create dynamic reports for sales managers and executives.
* Data Visualization:
o Transform raw data into clear and actionable visual representations.
o Present findings to stakeholders in a compelling manner.
o Customize dashboards to meet specific business needs.
* Quality Assurance:
o Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot any discrepancies.
o Ensure data consistency and reliability across reports.
* Process and Collaboration
o Working with multiple teams to ensure sales processes and booking are aligned
o Support sales teams to ensure the price, margins and subscriptions are booked accurately

Duration: This will be a full-time summer 2025 internship.

What we look for

RequiredQualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Current Junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in data science, Business Analytics, Statistics or a related field.
  • An effective communicator to all levels of the organization
  • Must have demonstrated computer skills, including use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
* Demonstrated problem solving skills required.
* Demonstrates process optimization and collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with SQL and data querying.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Basic understanding of sales processes and metrics.
* A keen eye for spotting inconsistencies, outliers, and data quality issues.
* A genuine interest in exploring data, learning new techniques, and staying updated with industry trends.
