PC Technician, Mid

Key Role:

Performs a variety of services in support of End Users or Missions for the various components and commands residing at the locations assigned and as directed by leadership. Troubleshoots and proactively resolves technical issues. Provides technical problem solving for customer support of database. Installs, configures, and maintains desktop and laptop PCs, mobile devices and peripherals, such as printers. Installs and configures application and operating system software and upgrades. Troubleshoots and repairs hardware and network connectivity issues. Removes old equipment and performs data migration to new machines. Maintains an inventory of installed software, manages software licensing, and assists with creating policies and procedures for upgrades. Works with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensures that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule. Analyzes and makes recommendations for hardware and software standardization

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with troubleshooting IT hardware, software, and VDI client hardware and Software

• Experience with using Remedy for receiving, documenting and closing tickets

• Knowledge of SCCM, McAfee, InTune, Forescout, Tiviolo, or Hypori

• Ability to oversee and guide junior technicians in day-to-day duties

• TS/SCI clearance

• HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience as a PC Technician, or Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field and 2+ years of experience as a PC Technician

• DoD IAT Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with working in a government environment

• Possession of excellent customer service skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
