The Billing Specialist/Project Accountant plays a critical role in the financial management of projects, with a strong focus on billing accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project accounting process, ensuring that all billing activities are executed efficiently and align with contractual terms and company policies.Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing client invoices, tracking billable costs, resolving billing discrepancies, and collaborating closely with Project Managers and the Finance team. The Billing Specialist/Project Accountant serves as a key liaison between project teams and accounting, ensuring that billing processes support the company's financial goals and contribute to overall project success. The annual salary range for positions in Kentucky is $58,000 - $70,000, based on education and relevant experience. |
