Position Overview The Senior Commercial Underwriter is responsible for analyzing customer financial information and underwriting commercial loans. This individual is responsible for spreading customer financial data, assigning risk ratings, participating in preparation of exception reports, and complying with company and regulatory lending guidelines. The Senior Commercial Underwriter is responsible for performing at the highest levels of productivity, for independently and efficiently spreading the most complex and involved credits, and for resolving problems independently. Essential Job Functions
Required Qualifications: AVP level: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area of study and three or more years of related experience (commercial banking, finance, credit, etc.); or equivalent combination of education and experience. VP level: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area of study and five or more years of related experience (commercial banking, finance, credit, etc.); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Location Details This position is considered a hybrid role. With management approval, an incumbent may work a combination of remote and onsite work to perform the regular responsibilities of the role. Actual schedule requirements may vary based upon business needs. Note: Job levels and hiring decisions are based upon both the business needs of the department and the qualifications of the incumbent. In some cases, an incumbent may meet the requirements of at the VP level, but may be hired in at a lower level based upon department business needs and staffing dynamics. Compensation & Benefits AVP Level Total Compensation is base pay Base Pay: $76,000 - $100,000 VP Level Total compensation is base pay and bonus Base pay: $93,888-$125,000 VP Bonus Eligible: Eligible to participate in the Annual Officer Incentive plan with a target bonus up to 15% of base salary based various performance components.
