Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute is searching for an Electrical Engineer (Part-time) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Eliminate the robot's EMI and EMC exceedances that would otherwise preclude its approval for space flight.

  • Isolate the robot's power system from its lander to preclude propagation of electronic noise to the lander.

  • Lead EMI/EMC testing and reporting of results.

  • Lead the electronic integration of design modifications to the MoonRanger rover.

  • Other duties as assigned.
