Customer Data Representative

Job Purpose

Timely review of field activity and customer meter data to ensure accuracy for billing. Works closely with departments that utilize meter usage data. This role involves data entry, review, and reporting.

Core Responsibilities

Note: This is not an all-inclusive listing

  • Data Maintenance: Enters, updates, and maintains customer device and consumption data to identify and resolve discrepancies, exceptions, or errors. Completes Field Activities in the system including meter exchanges and setting of meters at new addresses and maintains all corresponding records and reports.

  • Provide Support: Provides support to other departments by retrieving customer data as needed for various purposes and assisting with problem resolution. Provides backup to Field Service Representatives by driving daily mobile routes, as needed.

  • Meter Monitoring and Processing: Monitors, processes, and validates data transmitted from various meter reading systems.

  • Service and Operations: Retrieves keys and maintains key records. Initiates Field Activities to investigate equipment problems and other metering issues.

Skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.

  • Ability to communicate with and handle internal communications across multiple departments and formats.

  • Able to work across multiple computer systems and software programs.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Able to maintain a valid Wisconsin driver's license in good standing as determined by the Company.

Physical Requirements

Ability to meet physical requirements of role as identified by the Company's ergonomic solution assessment.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
