Here's what you will do:

  • Develop the growth of projects, including commercial commitments, internal approvals, external authority, and execution.

  • Support Southern region business interests - including but not limited to East TN Natural Gas, Saltville Gas Storage and Big Sandy footprints.

  • Maintain knowledge of Enbridge's commercial operations and competitive landscape across US Transmission footprint.

  • Responsible for commercial relationships with assigned business unit customers including negotiating transportation agreements and other commercial arrangements.

  • Manage business and market development activities for business units including identifying and advancing expansion opportunities.

  • Coordinate with GTM Market Innovation and GTM commercial teams to support initiatives and strategy.

Who you are:

You have:

  • A related Bachelor's degree with a minimum six (6) years' experience in the natural gas or energy industry in marketing, accounting, financial, commercial operations or related areas.

  • Experience in project development or similar industrial environment a plus. (Preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of gas industry commercial operations.

  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.

  • Strong achievement orientation.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills.

Preferred Assets:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or Finance.

  • Commercial operations, sales or marketing experience.

Working Conditions:

  • Domestic travel within the region and other locations as required.

  • Typical office environment.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
