What you'll be doing...

Verizon's Consumer Wholesale organization plays a crucial role in how Verizon presents itself in the marketplace, enabling additional revenue streams and subscriber growth through consumer-focused MVNO distribution channels. The Channel Management team you will be joining focuses on the day-to-day account management of two key channels for this important business.

As a Principal, Wholesale Network Solutions, you will:

  • Provide technical engagement on specific business challenges in your assigned channels, and present comprehensive solutions that address current and future needs for Verizon-hosted solutions and shared services that support channel customers

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration within Wholesale Channel Management, Product, Operations, and Platform teams, as well as with the broader Consumer and Global Networks & Technology teams at Verizon, to evaluate and populate solutions for SoWs from the channel

  • Provide SME level channel expertise, coordinate technical discussions with channel customers across a variety of topics, including network, device, and device plan features

  • Build strong relationships within the Verizon organization and externally with Channel Customer product development and engineering teams at the working team and executive levels

  • Facilitate and drive directional decision-making within the Verizon Wholesale team, engaging diverse points of view through collaboration and effective communication skills

  • Act as an escalation point to senior management on critical technical issues/risks/decision points, and management of these elements on an ongoing basis

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • An understanding of Wholesale reseller business models and associated technology enablers

  • Broad solutions experience in key technical areas such as: 5G NSA and SA core network functions, Emerging Device capabilities, 4G/5G Voice and messaging services, Connectivity plans and features, Billing records and rating, fraud management, Cloud, AI, Satellite products & solutions, emerging Consumer products and associated technologies

  • Prior experience in crafting technical solutions and SoWs for tier-1 customer projects

  • High level of comfort aligning channel requirements and associated solutions with key internal and external stakeholders

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Customer-facing technical sales/solutions experience from a leading telecom solutions provider.

  • Proven people leadership skills with an ability to influence without authority

  • Experience in proven partnerships across Verizon stakeholder organizations to align on scope, deliverables, and timelines for key initiatives.

  • Skillets to thrive in a fast-moving environment, work across multiple levels of an organization, meet challenging deadlines, and simultaneously work on several projects

  • Ability to translate complex ideas and express them in concise, simple-to-understand ways

  • Excellent speaking and writing skills to support the creation of user stories and convey complex solutions to all types of audiences

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $137,000.00 - $263,000.00.
