Department Summary The Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Processes Institute (AMMPI) is an institute of research excellence managed under the Division of Research & Innovation. AMMPI brings together a diverse group of researchers who are focused on developing structural materials, functional materials, computational tools, and advanced manufacturing processes to support the aerospace, automotive, and energy sectors. Position Overview This position is responsible for providing executive, administrative, and analytical support to the Director of Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Processes Institute (AMMPI) as well as staff and institute faculty members. The Sr Administrative Coordinator manages all the administrative support functions required for AMMPI daily operations, including but not limited to: purchasing, travel, meeting and event coordination, inventory and space management, budget reconciliation and reporting, and lab equipment user setup/tracking/billing, Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and five years' of highly responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities *Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
