What to Expect
The Inventory Control Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting factory operations through proactive material management. This position provides expertise in performing daily cycle counts, resolving inventory transaction issues, and working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Material Handling, and Finance. In addition to troubleshooting discrepancies and implementing corrective actions, the Inventory Control Associate will now also be responsible for material planning and the management of consumables to ensure consistent availability and flow of essential items for factory lines. This includes tracking usage rates, forecasting replenishment needs, and aligning with production schedules to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
What You'll Do
- Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, sub-assemblies, consumables, and finished goods
- Investigate and reconcile inventory variances, executing correction transactions as needed
- Identify inventory discrepancies, determine root causes, and support improvement initiatives
- Monitor location aging reports and collaborate with materials teams to ensure timely and accurate transactions
- Assist with general inventory control and material handling tasks as needed
- Plan and manage consumable materials for factory lines, including forecasting usage, maintaining stock levels, and coordinating timely replenishment
- Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of consumable inventory with production demand
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehousing, inventory control, or material handling
- Proficient in inventory systems (WARP, MOS/MES, SAP, or equivalent)
- Intermediate Excel skills; strong general computer proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- High attention to detail with a focus on identifying and correcting data inaccuracies
- Certified or capable of being certified to operate mobile equipment within 30 days
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
