Position Summary: Performs a variety of procedures to assist in the accurate reporting of financial information. Assists in preparation of standard & non-standard reports, provides financial analysis support to multiple departments & business units and performs special financial projects as directed.

Responsibilities

    Prepares standard reports and analysis that support business operations
  • Prepares routine daily/weekly/monthly revenue and revenue cycle management reports
  • Assists in the development and monitoring of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and operating forecasts, as necessary
  • Assists in modeling of payor coverage, market share and internal/ external benchmarking
  • Assist in the financial analysis support of revenue cycle and payor services teams, including unit profitability, fee schedule maintenance, accounts receivable aging, contract modeling and collections/ denials analysis
  • Identifies, improves, manages, and tracks revenue cycle performance improvement initiatives
  • Works with financial, revenue cycle and executive leadership on presentation of key metrics and root cause analysis
  • Develops and provides Ad Hoc requests from FP&A Leadership Team
  • Assist in day-to-day departmental requirements related to data translation, validation and report writing
  • Always maintains a high degree of confidentiality due to access to sensitive information
  • Follows existing departmental controls and procedures and maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance
  • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements and abides by all company regulations, policies, procedures and standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or related major, and 5 years of planning and analysis experience preferably healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical supply related industry
  • Ability to support Revenue Cycle Management, Payor Services, Supply Chain & Distribution, and Business Development departments in financial reporting and analytical needs
  • Must have Technical Professional experience with PowerPoint, Excel, SQL and Tableau/ Power BI
  • Must have Industry experience with claims, payments, shipment/ sales and healthcare data
  • Must be a project, process and detail oriented self-motivated self-starter
  • Must be able to identify and understands problems and opportunities; compares data from different sources to draw conclusions
  • Must be curious, confidence and have the ability to be engaging and outgoing with cross-departmental and varying levels of management teams
  • Must have experience and comfort working in a remote environment and is flexible to meet the needs of the department in a timely manner
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communication, and customer service skills
  • Demonstrates a strong desire to learn and passion for margin improvement
  • Demonstrates an ability to know what you don't know, but want to know
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (as needed)
