The Tech Sector Advisory within RSM's Management Consulting practice partners with Technology sector clients to address their most complex growth, operational, and transformation challenges. We work with emerging tech firms and SaaS companies to improve scalability, accelerate revenue, and optimize performance through digital enablement.

In this role you'll operate at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology-leading engagements that design and implement scalable business platforms. Your work will help clients optimize end-to-end processes across finance, sales, customer success, and operations to support rapid innovation and sustained growth. As a Managing Director, you will lead the design and delivery of ERP and CRM transformation programs tailored to the unique needs of RSM's clients. You will combine your technical expertise with business insight to architect solutions that enable operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and scalable infrastructure aligned to the client's growth stage and operating model.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture and design for NetSuite and Salesforce solutions that support core technology sector use cases, including SaaS billing, subscription management, ARR/MRR reporting, and customer lifecycle tracking
  • Drive digital transformation programs across lead-to-cash, quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report processes
  • Collaborate with client executives to understand business goals and translate them into scalable, technology-enabled operating models
  • Architect integrations across core platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Stripe, Gainsight, Avalara, Workato) to support connected digital ecosystems.
  • Mentor project teams through solution design, delivery governance, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Manage project workstreams, including scope, timeline, and quality assurance, while delivering clear communications to senior client stakeholders
  • Contribute to consulting delivery assets, accelerators, and methodologies tailored to the Technology sector
  • Partner with firm leadership on go-to-market strategies, proposal development, and client relationship management

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of consulting experience delivering technology-enabled transformations, ideally focused on high-growth or enterprise tech clients
  • 5+ years hands-on experience implementing and integrating Salesforce and/or NetSuite in a solution architect or delivery lead capacity
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue models, SaaS metrics, and digital operating models in the Technology industry
  • Experience with CPQ, billing systems (e.g., NetSuite SuiteBilling, Zuora, Stripe), and customer lifecycle management platforms.
  • Technical fluency in platform configuration, API integrations and data migration
  • Familiarity with reporting frameworks and KPIs relevant to technology businesses
  • Strong project leadership skills, including managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with client leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and business audiences
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • NetSuite ERP Consultant or Salesforce Certified Architect/Consultant credentials
  • Experience with middleware/integration tools (Workato, Boomi, Celigo, Mulesoft).
  • Exposure to investor readiness workstreams (e.g., IPO readiness, GAAP reporting, SOX compliance) for scaling tech firms
  • Familiarity with agile delivery methods, change management, and digital enablement strategy
  • Experience advising or working with VC/PE-backed tech firms on system modernization
  • MBA or other relevant certifications

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $181,900 - $397,700

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
