The Chobani Cafe Kitchen Manager will lead all aspects of the back of house (BoH) including coordinating, planning, and participating in the production, preparation, and presentation of our creations. This role leads the kitchen's daily administrative, operational, and culinary tasks, to include sanitation and safety processes. This position also leads, motivates, trains, develops, and directs the BoH employees to accomplish the objectives of the operation to the satisfaction of the customers of Chobani Cafe.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the Chobani Cafe kitchen in the achievement of their financial and operational targets via effective organizational development, policy and procedural development, and appropriate team member training activities
  • Effectively lead a shift, monitoring breaks and flow of foot traffic
  • Responsible for opening and closing procedures in partnership with other members of management
  • Create BoH schedules on a weekly basis including management of PTO requests and approvals
  • Act as training ambassador to train and onboard new team members for BoH operation and lead performance management processes for all cafe BoH employees
  • Clearly demonstrate to guests and Cafe team members a commitment to service excellence through the effective implementation
  • Build an outstanding problem-solving work environment, motivating and engaging Cafe team members to continuously deliver the best possible service to our guests
  • Develop, implement, and monitor initiatives crafted to achieve profitable results and outstanding service in all facets of the Cafe
  • Lead catering initiatives for BoH execution
  • Liaise with corporate culinary team to ensure successful roll out of limited time menu offerings and ensure proper recipe execution by all BoH employees
  • Inspect and ensure that all facilities and equipment are in excellent working condition and meet all regulatory and DOH requirements
  • Analyze all relevant profit and loss information such as sales, costs, labor cost and other incidentals to formulate efficiency improvements and assist in the preparation of budgets for the Cafe
  • Assist with cafe-related events as necessary
  • This role includes front of house (FoH) duties such as monitoring and maintaining the cash register, dining area and FoH employees
  • Complete other tasks as necessary
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years kitchen experience or applicable culinary experience in a similar volume and quality food service establishment
  • Experience with multivolume retail operations preferred
  • Must be driven to lead a team
  • Strong hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate about the Chobani brand
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task many priorities
  • Self-motivated and organized

Compensation Range:$64,000.00-$96,000.00, plus bonus.
