We are currently hiring a Senior Technical Accounting Analyst for one of the top consumer lenders. Description * Responsible for general ledger and month-end closing processes including: * Preparing journal entries and reconciling complex balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate reporting * Reviewing all intercompany transactions and account balances for appropriate elimination * Analyzing account information and activity to make recommendations and confirm allocations are accurate * Review contracts and prepare memorandums based on accounting guidance * Maintaining internal control documentation and operating procedures * Serve as the subject matter expert on technical accounting matters to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles including ASC 606, ASC 842 and ASC 805) * Assist with forecasting, budgeting, reporting, annual financial statement audit, data analysis and other projects as determined. Qualifications MUST HAVES: - B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance - Active CPA (or in the process of working towards one) - 3+ years of public accounting experience - Excellent proficiency within Excel - formulas, pivot tables, macros - 3+ years of Lease Accounting experience - 3+ years of Revenue Recognition experience - 3= years of experience reviewing contracts - Excellent communication skills - need to communicate with every department - Excellent organizational skills - Stability in a role and comfortable being in one position for at least 3 years Preferred Experience: * Experience with Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or Power BI a plus #westpriority25 Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $47.00 - $60.00/hr.
