The comms team is responsible for managing and enhancing Charter's reputation and image through strategic communication with external stakeholders such as the media, customers, investors, and the general public. We develop and execute communication strategies, craft impactful messages, and coordinate media relations to effectively convey Charter's values, goals, and key initiatives.

BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As the Lead Wireless Data Analyst, you are responsible for leading the daily processes of the wireless team. You are responsible for the analysis and interpretation of the wireless data to ensure the recommended cost-saving plans are appropriate. You oversee the activities relating to the maintenance of Charter's wireless inventory. You work directly with the vendor and the company's contacts to effectively coordinate all billing related activity. Additionally, you assist and train the wireless billing analysts in day-to-day functions.

WHAT OUR LEAD WIRELESS DATA ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Actively and consistently supporting all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Utilizing a high level of judgment and discretion on a daily basis to implement cost savings plans
  • Assisting the manager in any acquisition or merger deals
  • Reviewing billing activities, monthly usage quantities, formats, and systems to identify opportunities to reduce expenses
  • Assisting in the review of corporate contracts to ensure accurate billing and to resolve any billing disputes
  • Reviewing created reports that provide billing details to business owners across the company
  • Assisting in budget and forecast and providing variance analysis to actual expense reports
  • Assisting the manager with feedback and guidance to procurement during contract negotiations
  • Completing ad hoc reporting as required by corporate and the field
  • Maintaining and reviewing pooling plans in order to minimize expenses incurred
  • Performing special project work at the enterprise or specific business unit level
  • Performing training of new staff as requested
  • Assisting in the analyst/s semiannual and annual evaluation process
  • Preparing and downloading to the wireless COIN site of the monthly data reports for the managers to review their areas activity
  • Reviewing usage for managers by department within the company
  • Performing other duties as requested by the supervisor

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Packaging & Corporate, Accounting or related field
Experience: Finance or Accounting experience - 5
Reviewing and processing invoice/billing information - 4
Experience with wireless vendors, plans, and online databases - 2
Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting systems and other software applications (i.e. Excel, Access, Crystal)
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear and straight-forward manner with all levels
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize effectively in order to facilitate ad hoc requests
  • Ability to work independently
  • Technical Skills: Substantial knowledge of SQL
  • Ability to collect and analyze data
  • Substantial knowledge of Word and Outlook for communications and meeting management
  • Substantial knowledge of JDE
