JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Material Coordinator to serve as the "Tip of the Spear" for all material-related support to the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team on the North Slope. This role acts as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for coordinating, tracking, and prioritizing material needs in support of ongoing operations, maintenance activities, and emergent field requirements.

The ideal candidate will be fully integrated with the Pikka O&M team, working closely with Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain functions to ensure timely and efficient materials management throughout the asset lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Act as the primary liaison for all materials-related inquiries and coordination on the North Slope.
  • Maintain close integration with the Pikka O&M team to align material support with operational priorities and field execution schedules.
  • Lead request triage, assessing and prioritizing material demands to ensure alignment with safety, production, and maintenance objectives.
  • Support Maintenance and Operations in the preparation and submission of Materials Management (MM) forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in managing material workflows including but not limited to:


    • New Material Requests (NMRs)
    • Inventory Amendments
    • OSDDs (Over, Short, Damaged or Discrepant) or other change control processes


  • Provide budgetary pricing and lead time estimates to enable cost and schedule forecasting for planned and unplanned work.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and material status updates to inform planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support inventory optimization efforts by identifying surplus, obsolete, or underutilized materials.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all material handling and coordination activities.



REQUIRED EXPEREINCE



  • 5+ years of experience in materials coordination, preferably in an oil & gas or remote operations environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, procurement processes, and maintenance planning workflows.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote field environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence.
  • North Slope experience strongly preferred.

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE

While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:

Meet the ASRC Energy Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.

Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing.

Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.

Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam

Required to complete and successfully pass a background check.

Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.
