Genesis10 is seeking a Contract Analyst for our client in the Oil & Gas Industry. This is a 6-month Contract/Hybrid opportunity located in Tulsa, OK. 74103. Hybrid (Mon - Wed in office. Thu - Fri remote).

RATE $30.00 - $35.00ph W2

W2 Status:

Only candidates available and ready to work directly as employees will be considered for this position. No Corp to Corp or VISA candidates will be considered at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, analyzes, negotiates, interprets, and communicates information from complex legal documents pertaining to leases, service contracts, including IT service contracts, software licenses, software as a service (SAAS) agreement, telecommunications contracts and other contracts involving enterprise security.
  • Analyze, prepare, review, maintain, and/or process complex contracts, records, and related legal documents.
  • Utilize discretion and judgment researching and interpreting legal documents to ensure compliance with contract terms and state and federal regulations. Ensure compliance with all company standards, tariffs, policies, and procedures including meeting insurance
  • requirements to satisfy company risk management matrix.
  • Negotiate contract terms and provisions as required.
  • Utilize contract administration software in daily work, maintain computer database and imaging systems for agreements, related documentation. and gas storage lease agreements.
  • Utilize independent decision making to recommend system improvements as needed.
  • Provide information, guidance, and assistance to customers, attorneys, company and contract personnel relative to rights, ownerships, and lease payments.
  • Compile and analyze reports to management, attorneys, and other company personnel.
  • Prepare and maintain all approvals, waivers, vendor information including certificates of insurance and prequalification documents, and other legal documents.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
  • Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned
  • Formal education to include a combination of courses such as math, accounting, lease records, real estate principles and practices, division orders, or right-of-way and the following job-related experience
  • Experience and thorough knowledge of working with complex contracts involving information technology and industry and governmental regulations.
  • Experience with IT contracts preferred
  • Working knowledge of information technology contracts.
  • Experience with application of basic math and algebraic formulas used in various spreadsheet applications


Position Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of recording requirements of legal documents.
  • Experience in use and function of tools and equipment applicable to position including computers, contract management database and imaging systems, and spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Contract law or contract preparation
  • Business communications
  • Records maintenance
  • Insurance coverages and Certificates of Insurance
  • Data management systems
  • Experience reading and interpreting documents, contracts, forms, manuals, publications, and correspondence
  • Experience conducting internal and/or external research and preparing contracts, records, reports, and correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Experience interacting, negotiating, and communicating effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
  • Paralegal or other relevant legal experience; Formal education or combination of education and relevant experience; Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Applicable driver's license.
