Primary Purpose

The Solutions Specialist provides value-based demonstrations of software applications to show prospects and customers how the solutions will help them to achieve their goals. The Solutions Specialist provides the technical and functional know-how in the sales process. In addition, they help and guide customers through pilots, configuration, and prepare solutions for additional requirements and participate in the answering of RFPs (Request for Proposals).


Responsibilities

  • Provides compelling demonstrations to prospective and current customers to convince them of how software solutions enhance their business.
  • Manages, leads and hosts workshops wherein you take prospective and current customers through a deep dive into their processes and how our solutions meet their requirements in detail.
  • Be the functional key person throughout the sales cycle, being a trusted advisor to prospective customers.
  • Provide functional and technical input to incoming RFPs and RFIs (Requests for Information).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in software sales for life sciences /clinical trial software.
  • Clinical data management and/or site coordination experience preferred.
  • Understanding of drug development processes and related software.
  • Ability to quickly learn how to configure software products for use on clinical studies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaboration: Contributes outstanding teamwork in the achievement of group and corporate goals.
  • Initiative: Exhibits resourcefulness and action in making independent sound decisions.
  • Results-Oriented: Performs beyond current job to meet critical deadlines and deliverables.
