TTCU Federal Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Closing Coordinator to join our Mortgage Lending team. In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the mortgage closing process-ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service from start to finish. As a Mortgage Closing Coordinator, you'll work closely with lenders, title companies, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate closings. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of mortgage documentation and compliance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Prepares all closing documents to send to the closer: organize & complete member loan documents for delivery to title company, real estate broker and/or lending officer for closing within time frame. Reviews final closing docs from closer to ensure accuracy prior to closing.
  • Ensure closed loans are within underwriting compliance: ensure funded loans have no Mortgage Partnership Financing (MPF) exceptions. Ensure all closings screens and documents are accurate in Avista
  • Prepares documents after closing to send to credit manager. Prepares loan funding and wire sheets.
  • Corresponds and coordinate of all persons involved in the closing/post-closing transactions.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Processing and/or closing FHA, VA, FHLMC, FNMA, 184 and USDA loans



  • Is an effective team player who adds complementary skills and contributes valuable ideas, opinions and feedback; communicates in an open and candid manner and can be counted upon to fulfill any commitments made to others on the team.



  • Utilizes a variety of communication modalities effectively and appropriately across multiple channels.



  • Possesses a sufficient level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; keeps up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise; actively seeks ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development activities.



  • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with internal and external members which result in member satisfaction with both the process and the outcome.
