As a Cybersecurity Presales Engineer on our Small and Medium-Sized Business (SMB) team, you will play a meaningful role in winning our customers' trust and ensuring their success. You'll partner with Account Executives to strategize on territory, account, and opportunity planning. You will engage directly with prospective clients, building trusting relationships, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how our cybersecurity solutions can protect and empower their businesses. Your Impact We seek someone with a passion for sharing their excitement about technology and making it approachable for everyone, from the front line of Security Operations to the C-level, or even to their grandparents. As part of your DNA, you are a self-starter who can build consultative relationships and develop and execute sales strategies and tactics that improve our opportunity to win a customer's business. Minimum Qualifications: Solid understanding of and experience with cybersecurity, networking technologies, or related concepts, standards, and operations. 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Preferred Qualifications: Can-do attitude with adaptability to changing environments. Collaborative and clear communicator. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or similar. Experience with Firewall, SD-WAN, or Secure Access technologies is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Proven understanding of cybersecurity solutions, terminology, markets, and customer needs. Why Cisco?
