Network Health's success is rooted in its mission to create healthy and strong Wisconsin communities. Network Health is seeking a Governance Manager. This position functions as the organization's point person and liaison for board governance. The Governance Manager manages all logistics and planning activities for Board and Board committee meetings with the Board secretary and other executives, coordinates and assembles the materials for these meetings and manages filings and other governance and regulatory requirements related to the Board including onboarding and orientation for new directors.

The Governance Manager attends all board and board committee meetings and serves as the resource for Board and committee members, executives and their assistants.

The Governance Manager also provides administrative support for the Chief Legal & Strategy Officer, the Senior Vice-President, Human Resources and the Vice-President, Strategy.

Location: Candidates must reside in the state of Wisconsin for consideration. This position is eligible to work at your home office (reliable internet is required), at our office in Brookfield, or a combination of both in our hybrid workplace model.

Hours: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm Monday through Friday

Job Responsibilities:



  • Demonstrate commitment and behavior aligned with the philosophy, mission, values and vision of Network Health
  • Appropriately apply all organizational, regulatory, and credentialing principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies
  • Coordinates all strategic initiative, plan performance and Key Performance Indicator reporting, both written and presentations.
  • Plans agendas and coordinates materials for all Board, Audit Committee, Finance and Operations Committee and Executive Committee meetings in cooperation with the Board secretary.
  • Ensures all required actions of the Board and its associated committees are complete and in accordance with corporate bylaws.
  • Prepares Board orientation materials and facilities compliance with onboarding requirements.
  • Attends and prepares minutes for at all Board, Audit Committee, Executive Committee, and Finance and Operations Committees.
  • Monitors trends in meeting management and governance to ensure Network Health is employing best practices.
  • Coordinates ongoing training and development opportunities for executive and administrative assistants.
  • Provides administrative support for the executive responsible for the board secretary and other assigned executives.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilties as assigned.


Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience in corporate governance, executive assistant for senior executives or other applicable professional experience.
  • Two to four years' experience in corporate governance or as an executive assistant for senior executives.
  • Experience in Health Insurance preferred.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Advanced analytic skills using analytic tools
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Demonstrated project management and data analysis skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management and prioritization
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
