OverviewAs a Silicon Engineer - ASIC verification in the Data Processing Unit team you will be validating silicon to solve complex problems in a datacenter. You will interact with the architecture team to develop a programmable silicon implementation. This position is expected to be highly visible and impactful. We are looking for a Silicon Engineer to join our team! ResponsibilitiesPerform functional validation of ASIC SoCs at block, cluster, and full-chip levels using UVM and C-based test benchesSupport hardware emulation efforts to accelerate validation cyclesDevelop comprehensive test plans and author unit tests to ensure functional correctnessDesign stress and performance scenarios to meet validation goals and ensure robust system behaviorCreate and manage regression suites; debug test failures and drive timely resolutionProvide C-based firmware support for software development teamsInnovate and mplement new methodologies and tools to improve validation efficiencyExemplify Microsoft core values: Customer Focus, Adaptability, Collaboration, Growth Mindset, Drive for Results, Influence for Impact, Judgement, and Diversity & Inclusion
