Treasury Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will support the Treasury Department by performing investment and credit analysis, investment reporting, and liquidity analysis.

• Credit analysis of the investment portfolio including municipal and corporate bonds. This will include obtaining compliance certificate and monitoring covenants
• Analyze and prepare reports on the current investment portfolio as well as market trends and economic information
• Prepare daily summary of pledged securities and monitoring of deposit levels. Make recommendations for changes in pledging levels. Work with customers on any changes in pledging and update systems for the changes
• Prepare and review all data files for use in the Asset and Liability Model. Documentation of all assumptions used in the quarterly process
• Review ad prepare documentation and reports of liquidity stocks
• Monitors daily cash position. Assist with modeling needs and cash forecasting. This includes monitoring of brokered markets
• Monitor and prepare reports on competitor deposit rates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational/work experience
• 0-2 years experience in fixed income securities as well as credit analysis. Must be detail oriented.
• Preferred: Bloomberg experience helpful with strong excel and data analysis skills

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; must be able to do advanced math and carry out written instructions
• Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
• Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs.
