Johns Hopkins Care at Home is seeking a dynamic Quality & Safety Manager to lead performance improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, quality, and patient safety. The Quality Safety Manager reports to the Executive Director of Quality & Safety for Johns Hopkins Care at Home. In this position, you will be responsible for managing and leading process improvement initiatives. Your primary goal will be to optimize operational efficiency and quality while reducing waste and eliminating defects. This role requires a deep understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and their application in a healthcare setting and is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong experience in Lean Six Sigma and healthcare process improvement. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, independent worker with excellent communication, data analysis, and relationship-building skills.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Drive quality and process improvement initiatives across the division of Home Medical Equipment and Respiratory Services
  • Analyze complex data to identify trends, reduce waste, and eliminate defects
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement evidence-based improvements



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in Business, Engineering, or Healthcare Administration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading performance improvement in healthcare
  • Proven success applying Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Strong knowledge of Performance Improvement principles
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance
  • Advanced interpersonal skills for data gathering and exchange



Salary Range: Minimum $25.00/hour - Maximum $45.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
