The FOX direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform is a new, forward-looking initiative within Tubi Media Group that brings FOX's unparalleled content portfolio-news, sports, and entertainment-directly to consumers via an innovative subscription streaming service.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Manager, Content (News) will lead the content and merchandising strategy for national news & opinion across FOX's direct-to-consumer platform. In this role, you will work closely with editorial leaders across the company to position content that reflects FOX's voice and journalistic excellence, with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about news and current affairs, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings an editorial mindset to digital content merchandising.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Curate and merchandise news and news opinion content across the app, aligned with editorial and business priorities

  • Monitor breaking news and high-impact stories to ensure timely content updates

  • Collaborate closely with news editorial, production, and content operations teams across the organization

  • Use performance data and analytics to inform content placement and programming decisions

  • Plan and execute editorial strategies around major news events, elections, and national moments

  • Maintain a consistent and authoritative news presence throughout the app experience

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Experience working in digital news, editorial, or streaming content environments

  • Strong understanding of journalistic standards and audience expectations in the news space

  • Familiarity with merchandising or content programming for digital platforms

  • Proficiency in CMS tools and editorial workflows

  • Ability to interpret data and audience insights to optimize performance

  • Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work style

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Background in journalism or newsroom operations

  • Experience programming for national or breaking news coverage

  • Knowledge of audience behaviors across DTC and streaming platforms

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $114,000.00-125,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
