Senior Aerospace Spencer is an engineer-driven organization focused on high-pressure hydraulic fluid fittings for use in commercial and military aerospace applications. We specialize in source-controlled, standard, and proprietary fittings. Senior Aerospace Spencer also identifies solutions for fluid conveyance challenges related to fitting applications. What does the job involve?

Job Summary:

The Production Coordinator supports daily production operations with a key focus on shipping coordination. This entry-level role works closely with production leads, the shipping team, and other departments to ensure that orders are processed, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision of Shipping Manager, the successful candidate must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:



  • Coordinate production schedules in alignment with shipping deadlines.
  • Track work orders and ensure finished goods are ready for shipment.
  • Communicate regularly with the shipping department to prioritize outgoing orders.
  • Assist with preparing documentation for shipments, including labels, packing slips, and logs.
  • Monitor material availability and alert relevant departments of shortages or delays.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and inventory teams to ensure order accuracy and fulfillment.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and production/shipping logs.
  • Support communication across shifts and departments to ensure continuity.



Education:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or administrative certification a plus.



Requirements/Skills:



  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry).
  • Ability to follow directions, multitask, and stay organized under pressure.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.



Physical Requirements:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., moving office supplies, files, or small packages).
  • Occasional bending, stooping, or reaching to file documents or retrieve materials.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment, including computers, copiers, scanners, and phones.
  • Visual acuity to read documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
  • Exposure to standard manufacturing and warehouse environments.
  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise and fluctuating temperatures.
  • Frequent movement between office and production/shipping areas.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
