Pay: $16.78/hr. ($0.25 shift differential) Schedule: Rotating schedule, weekends and holidays included Key Responsibilities: In the Quality Lab, responsibilities include performing accurate and timely basic lab tests, with the initiative to learn and conduct advanced testing as needed. This includes maintaining and ensuring the reliability of key lab equipment such as HPLC and beer chemistry tools, conducting GC analysis, performing data entry and analysis to maintain production logs, and testing raw materials and byproducts. In the Distillery, duties involve conducting quality and analytical checks on fermentations, performing HPLC and NIR analysis of mash and beer, determining alcohol content, calculating fermentation yield, and monitoring still operations through proof measurements and base loss analysis. Additional tasks include collecting still samples for further analysis and monitoring the quality of grain milling.
