Position description

UCLA's Civil & Environmental Engineering Department will have openings for part-time teaching positions during the academic year. Teaching positions involve classroom instruction at the undergraduate and graduate level in the following areas:

* Structures

* Geotechnical

* Water Resources

* Environmental Engineering

* Earthquake Engineering

* Materials Engineering

* Transportation Engineering

The teaching positions require a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or related field, with prior classroom teaching preferred. Work and research experience will be considered. Salary commensurate with qualifications.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications

Candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering or related. Department will consider work experience and teaching experience in lieu of PhD in some circumstances.
