Essential Function:
Operates heavy equipment to transfer material in all areas except loading pit shot rock using a front-end loader.

Core Competencies:

Able to read and write legibly
Demonstrated competency operating heavy equipment

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs inspection of vehicle prior to operation

• Reports any damage or items needing repair

• Operates rigid frame trucks to haul material to designated locations

• Operates loader to provide feed to mill, etc.; load trucks with material to be hauled

• Responsible for quality of work and the safe operation of all tools/equipment under his/her control

• Responsible for good housekeeping and safety inspection of work area

• May be required to perform other duties as assigned
