SOME (So Others Might Eat) exists to help the homeless and poor of Washington, DC. With over 30 programs throughout the District of Columbia, we provide a wide spectrum of services to the most vulnerable individuals and families of our city. Compensation: We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The hourly range for this position is $17.95 to $19.00 and may be commensurate with experience. SOME (So Others Might Eat) is currently seeking a Community Resource Aide to join our Dining Room department on O Street in NW Washington, DC. Position Description: The Community Resource Aide is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily food service operations, managing volunteer participation, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of dining and shower facilities. This role ensures that clients receive consistent, quality services in a supportive and welcoming environment. The Community Resource Aide plays a vital role in the smooth operation of daily activities within the community resource center. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm (40 hours per week) Required: High School Diploma, 1-3 yrs. customer service experience Preferred: High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years of customer service experience; experience providing service to the homeless. Preferred bi-lingual English/Spanish. Required License/Certification: CPR/First-Aid; Food Handler Certification. Willing to obtain a state license. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
