Strategic Planning Specialist

Marketing Strategy Team

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA.


Summary
We are seeking a Strategic Planning Specialist to join the Marketing Strategy team. This role will support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and customer acquisition. You'll collaborate across media, creative, data, and analytics teams to craft data-informed strategies and ensure smooth campaign execution.

Our Ideal Candidate


  • 5+ years of experience in media planning and strategy, with agency experience preferred



  • Passion for integrated marketing with a strong foundation in cross-channel tactical planning (digital, social, OOH, TV)



  • Proficient in syndicated research sources (e.g., MRI/Simmons, comScore), social listening tools, and marketing analytics



  • Familiar with both traditional and digital media platforms and how they work together in integrated campaigns



  • Skilled in collaborating with internal teams and external partners, including creative strategists, media planners, and analytics professionals



  • Able to work independently and manage multiple campaigns from planning to execution



  • Flexible and adaptable to changing timelines, stakeholder needs, and campaign objectives



  • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills



  • Self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to translate data into actionable insights




Job Description
In this role, you will develop and manage integrated media strategies that align with brand goals and performance KPIs.
You'll partner with marketing leads, media teams, creative strategists, and data analysts to build campaigns informed by audience insights and data-driven recommendations. This includes briefing media partners, reviewing and consolidating media plans, and clearly communicating strategy and performance to internal stakeholders.

You will also support campaign reporting, optimizations, and workflow coordination to ensure strategies are effectively implemented and tracked. You'll work on a variety of initiatives ranging from regional promotions to national brand awareness campaigns.


Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field



  • Background in media strategy, audience targeting, and campaign management



  • Experience overseeing campaigns from concepting to execution across channels including Social, Digital, Audio, OOH, and CTV

  • The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $51.00 - $55.90 per hour



  • This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health insurance, and 401(k), depending on tenure and hours worked
