Position Details:
As a Staff Associate, you will support a team of clinicians providing administrative responsibilities. Additionally, you will promote communication between clinicians and their patients and families.
Reporting to the Senior Staff Associate, this is a full-time, non-exempt, onsite position located in our San Mateo, CA office.
You Will:
  • Provide a high-quality patient experience for families receiving care at Child Mind Institute.
  • Manage clinicians' calendars ensuring efficiency of clinical time and schedule appointments in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Facilitate the flow of phone and email communication between clinicians and patients.
  • Collect initial patient information, perform intakes and coordinate services.
  • Check in patient appointments and process daily billing through the EMR system.
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and strictly protect personal health information.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as needed.
You Have:
  • 2+ years of administrative or office experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Pay Range
The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
