Summary of Job Duties:The Graduate School of Business in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is seeking a creative and motivated Videography Student Worker to support the graduate school's marketing and communications efforts. This role will assist in producing compelling video content for a variety of platforms, including digital ads, social media, and web. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in both shooting and editing video and be eager to help tell the story of our graduate programs through high-quality, engaging visual media.

Key Responsibilities:
*Shoot and edit short- and long-form video content for use in marketing campaigns, social media, events, and internal promotions
*Capture and edit B-roll footage from campus events, classroom sessions, and student or faculty interviews
*Collaborate with the marketing team to develop storyboards and shot lists for upcoming projects
*Assist with filming promotional material for graduate programs, faculty profiles, and student testimonials
*Edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing platforms, ensuring consistency in branding and tone
*Optimize video content for multiple platforms including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the university website
*Assist in managing video file storage and metadata organization
*Occasionally shoot still photography for events and campaigns
*Work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for event coverage

*Position is in-person
*Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week, including some evenings/weekends
*University equipment will be provided, but the ability to use personal equipment is a plus (with approval)

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a current University of Arkansas student in good academic standing

  • At least one (1) year of experience in videography, including shooting and editing content

  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent video editing software)

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently while meeting production deadlines

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Must be able to lift and carry video equipment as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Photoshop or Lightroom

  • Basic photography skills

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for video in a digital marketing context

  • Knowledge of branding, visual storytelling, and basic graphic design principles
