Position Details:As the Reading Specialist within the School & Community Programs team, you will partner with public schools across New York City to provide high-quality reading intervention support to early elementary students who are struggling with the acquisition of foundational literacy skills. You will provide direct instruction using evidence-based curricula to support development of skills including phonological awareness, decoding, and spelling, and collaborate with teachers and families to offer strategies for reinforcing learning at home and in the classroom. Reporting to the Reading Service Manager, this is a full-time, exempt, hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote) position. #LI-hybrid You Will:
