Job Description
We are currently hiring a Brewing Operatorin Breinigsville, PA
This position is responsible for monitoring and carrying out brew house, fermenting, filtration, blending processes, and operations. Candidates must be self-starters willing to accept "operational responsibility" and work any shift, including weekends.
What You'll Brew:

  • Brewing/Blending Operator responsibilities include monitoring and directly managing the Brew house, Fermenting, Filtration, and Blending processes and operations. It involves recording, troubleshooting, monitoring temperature and flow, communication, supplying lines with material or product, cleaning, sanitation, and foaming.
  • Accurate and timely entry of inventory records within the ERP system at the point of use, including all materials, ingredients, and in-process products. Troubleshoot and escalate any inventory discrepancies with the appropriate group.
  • Sanitation involves the complete cleaning of all the equipment within the facility. Foaming equipment, hoses, brooms, shovels, brushes, scrapers, squeegees, and chemicals are necessary to sanitize the designated site.
  • Unloading material for Brewing and Blending processing may include rail cars, trucks, totes, drums, pallets, etc.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and make recommendations to the process.
  • Operate forklifts safely and effectively, as required.
  • Perform Quality checks, testing and complete paperwork as required.
  • Must make equipment and product changeovers using tools as needed.
  • Assist other operators and departments in training, repair work, and equipment operation as needed.
  • Perform work and cleaning in confined space areas.
  • Assist with supporting overtime as needed to cover varying production needs. It may include 12-hour days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Tolerate summer/winter temperature conditions and hot and cold room environments
  • The operating environment is complex and densely populated with production equipment and forklifts that necessitates high situational awareness
  • Work overtime as needed, which may require 12-hour days, weekends, and holidays

  • Must work and clean in confined areas such as tanks and vessels.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting ability, especially involving manufacturing processes and operations
  • Understanding and knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and systems
  • Experience with participative leadership and time management.
  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in a collaborative team environment.
  • Highly effective multi-tasker; resourceful with a "get-it-done, can-do" attitude.
  • Proficient with Computer systems, including MS Outlook. Must be able to learn and accurately utilize the brewery operation system.
  • Must be available to support shift (8 or 12 hours), weekend, and holiday schedules as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • All production roles are required to pass a pre-employment physical exam to comply with their specific role requirement(s)
  • Certain roles may require the use of a respirator and passing the associated fit test
  • Regular walking and standing for long periods (up to 11 hours a day) on concrete, metal, and grated surfaces
  • While performing the duties of this role, it may be required to climb flights of stairs, work from height or on elevated platforms*
  • Ability to wear assigned PPE (safety shoes, gloves, facemask, hearing protection, and hard hat) *Some roles (e.g., forklift operator) may be required to sit for a prolonged period and have strong peripheral vision and depth perception
  • Ability to lift at least 60lbs

Level: 9
In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $22.40 per hour.
