PRIMARY OBJECTIVE(S) OF POSITION

As a Pipelayer, your primary duties include preparation, handling, and supplying of materials to be used each day.

The base compensation range for this role is $26-$35 per hour. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill, and experience with consideration given to internal equity.

KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)



  • Loading and unloading equipment
  • Lift, unload, move, and set material associated with utility installation
  • General cleanup and clearing of debris, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and unloading of material
  • Placing, pushing, pulling, shoveling concrete, dirt, or pipe bedding
  • Vibrating concrete
  • Provides work direction and guidance to laborer
  • All other duties as assigned
  • All team members are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics:

  • Follow work rules and procedures
  • Punctual and consistent attendance
  • Accept constructive feedback
  • Qualifications
  • Ability to work with tools and equipment, such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills and jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and compaction equipment
  • Basic survey experience including the ability to shoot grade and calculate rise over run.
  • Understanding of installation specifications
  • Detail orientation
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, climb, and periodically lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to follow instructions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS



  • Equipment certifications as required
  • A minimum of one year of related experience
  • Must possess a valid driver's license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law
