NATURE AND SCOPE
Reporting to the SVP, Enterprise Project Management Office, the Business Process Architect will contribute to a growing team through driving the analysis, design, documentation, and implementation of business process improvements and risk controls. The role focuses on designing and implementing process improvements across various business segments while developing and maintaining process engineering best practices. Responsible for understanding business goals, understanding current state, recommending future state enhancements, and managing the implementation and adoption of process improvements.


REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and applying process engineering techniques, preferably in the financial services industry. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
2. Proven experience in creating current and future state business process artifacts.
3. Strong ability to effectively analyze data to identify effectiveness of controls, trends, key performance indicators, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Knowledgeable in business procedure documentation and development.
5. Demonstrated ability in engaging stakeholders and building trusting relationships; capability to understand the goals of the business and project teams.
6. Proven ability to independently organize work, balance multiple priorities, and manage a variety of projects in a high-volume work environment with strong attention to detail.
7. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and levels in an organization; ability to lead without direct authority.
8. Adept communicator; providing consistent, concise, relevant, reliable, and timely information to all appropriate stakeholders.
9. Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and solution development skills.
10. Must have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must understand and comply with all job-related State and Federal laws and regulations.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLITIES
1. Design and document processes based on business requirements and best practices. Ensure processes support the desired customer experience while adhering to applicable risk controls, and regulatory and compliance requirements.
2. Establish standards for measuring performance against process requirements including the development of metrics that provide data for process management indicators for future process improvement opportunities.
3. Design and document future state processes that address opportunities uncovered during analysis.
4. Provide thought leadership in the development and advancement of our process engineering framework, methods, techniques, tools, and training.
5. Contribute to the advancement of Landmark's overall strategy in managing policies, business process, and procedures.
6. Drive and facilitate the planning, design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of future-state business process change.
7. Collaborate with associates from any level of the organization based on the project, including senior management, department heads, and other colleagues.
8. Manage change and build user acceptance throughout the course of the projects and initiatives.
9. Mentor others in the utilization of process engineering methodologies.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
