All we need is you. The opportunity University seeks enthusiastic student employees for the role of Study Abroad Student Catalyst. This position offers opportunities to develop professional skills while promoting global learning experiences to students. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging classroom presentations (with training from the Study Abroad Program Manager) to promote study abroad opportunities, clearly communicating their academic and cultural value to diverse audiences. Update the Study Abroad SharePoint website with current cultural, academic, and program information, ensuring content is accessible, relevant, and engaging through thoughtful design. Collaborate with the Social Media team to develop marketing campaigns and create visually appealing campus flyers using Canva, ensuring consistent and inclusive messaging. Use inclusive language and diverse perspectives in presentations, website content, and marketing materials to encourage all students to explore study abroad opportunities. Propose creative ideas to enhance outreach efforts and reflect on personal growth during regular supervisor check-ins to align job tasks with career goals. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability, punctuality, and reliability.
Minimum Qualifications:
Enrollment in an Undergraduate On-Campus degree program at Southern New Hampshire University. Proficient in using Canva, ChatGPT (or other AI platform), and Microsoft Excel/Word to create and manage content effectively. Work study part of financial aid package. Students with work study maybe prioritized. Highly dependable and flexible, with consistent attendance and punctuality as essential functions of the role. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse student groups and staff.

Career Development Requirements (AY 2025-26):
Participate in a mandatory, paid meeting with a Career Services advisor to build or refine a resume, highlighting skills developed through this role. Engage in self-reflection during mid-semester check-ins with supervisors to discuss progress and set professional development goals. Encouraged to attend campus career fairs to network and explore career opportunities. Participate in team meetings that include career-focused discussions, such as "Adulting 101" sessions or guest speakers from Career Services, to enhance professional skills.
