Because at the end of the day our goal is to help our partners businesses run better. Position Summary: The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will lead and design infrastructure solutions at Triumph. They will do this as part of the Identity & Directory Services team, with technologies such as Okta, Active Directory, Entra, Certificate Services and Password Management. They will build, manage and improve the infrastructure systems at Triumph, providing services in support of the day-to-day operations, critical projects, and strategic growth of the business. The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will be expected to continually interact with and support team members with varying technical backgrounds in a fast-paced work environment. They will also proactively identify and correct deficiencies while improving overall IT infrastructure. A Day in the Life
Proactively gather information and utilize analytical and creative problem-solving skills, alongside standard processes, and technologies, to create efficient, secure, and reliable solutions for business. Provide technical support for IDS team solutions and services. Creates and maintains documents for procedures, processes and architecture diagrams. Guides team members to design, implement, and test systems. Accountable for use of services, handling sensitive data, resolving incidents and requests in compliance with FFIEC regulations. Research and stays current with advances in technologies, recommending change and updates accordingly. Owns delivery of entire projects or initiatives related to Identity and Directory services Mentors and manages technical direction for the whole team. Identify areas of improvement and proactively develop plans to improve IDS related technologies. Coordinates with other IT teams (Information Security, Network, etc) and stakeholders Manages production and pre-production systems in a hybrid cloud/datacenter environment. Creates automation through modern scripting methods such as PowerShell, Python & Terraform. Responsible for automating building systems and deploying applications. Participates in a 24x7 on-call rotation. Tune and refine existing systems to improve efficiency, reduce cost and reduce complexity.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent work experience Advanced Technical certification in Okta (Preferably Okta Certified Administrator, Consultant or Architect) Experience with integrating applications with Okta. Proficiency with creating and maintaining workflows within Okta. Experience with integrating HRIS systems into a modern IDP. 7+ years' experience in an IT technical leadership role in either Systems Engineering / Administration. Working knowledge of common infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, FTP, etc. Experience with mergers and acquisitions, domain consolidation, and customer identity access management. The successful candidate will possess business operations experience and skills, excellent leadership skills, superior analytical and critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.
You will need this to be successful in this position:
Expertise in Okta administration, including lifecycle management, SSO, MFA, and integration with third-party applications. Proficient in both on-premises and cloud environments, including Entra. Experience with certificate services (e.g., Microsoft CA, PKI infrastructure, certificate lifecycle management). Proficiency in password management solutions (e.g., self-service password reset, privileged access management tools). Understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, LDAP). Experience with scripting and automation for identity and access management tasks. Working knowledge of basic networking concepts. Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Strong project management and prioritization skills, with experience delivering projects on time and within scope. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, working with security, infrastructure, HR, and application teams. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts with a high degree of intellectual curiosity. Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with managers and users with varying technical backgrounds in a fast-paced work environment. Strong work ethic, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to oversee multiple tasks with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to receive and follow instructions given by management and develop solutions to unique problems. Ability to work on more than one task at a time and manage work effectively by prioritizing team assignments, schedules, and meetings. Ability to provide excellent customer service, while meeting strict deadlines. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to adapt to changing work situations and procedures.
