General Summary
We're looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Coordinator to support everyday HR tasks and help build strong employee relationships at our Sanford facility. This role is a go-to resource for staff, making sure processes run smoothly and company policies are followed. The coordinator plays a key part in creating a positive workplace through clear communication, good organization, and professional service. This role requires someone who is energized, caring, and ready to take the initiative, working well with others and helping grow a culture of respect, honesty, and teamwork.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support all Sanford plant safety policies, participant in the Safety Committee.
- Coordinate and perform onboarding and orientation for new hires, including compliance training and benefits education and enrollment.
- Maintain organized personnel records, benefits files, training logs, and workers' compensation reports across ADP HRIS systems and other related programs.
- Ensure HR forms and bulletin boards are accurate, current, and accessible.
- Manage seasonal recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Initiating documents for hiring, leave of absence, transfers, promotion, terminations, and seasonal separation procedures, verification of employments, updating reports, etc. ensuring adherence to company guidelines.
- Foster trust and strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Provide bilingual support (English/Spanish) to aid in communication, training, and document translation.
- Serve as the HR help desk for general inquiries, answer calls and relay messages professionally.
- Coordinate employee events such as appreciation events, High5 program, raffles, lunches, and health fairs.
- Be willing and able to attain FirstAid, CPR, AED, and BBP certifications to provide emergency support as needed.
- Handle sensitive HR information with discretion and maintain employee confidentiality.
- Support monthly HR communications such as employee notices.
- Maintain and update employee records to ensure timely and accurate transmission of data to payroll for compensation processing.
- Flexibility to work mid-shift schedules based on business needs.
- Perform other tasks and special assignments as required.
Required Education & Skills
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional administrative experience and/or equivalent education.
- At least 1 year of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Strong organizational, reporting, and file management skills.
- Demonstrated reliability, discretion, and independence in work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; collaborative team player.
- Proven ability to learn and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license.
