Job # PR25071 Job Title Organizational Development Specialist Office Location Roanoke, VA or Houston, TX preferred Business Function/Department Human Resources/Organizational Development Sales Territory, if applicable N/A General Role Description Design, develop and implement learning and organizational development initiatives based on sound design principles and a variety of methodologies appropriate for all learner types Role Accountabilities - Consult with managers to conduct individual and team needs analysis to identify factors contributing to skill and performance gaps - Design and develop instructional content and curricula for synchronous and asynchronous, virtual and in-person delivery, in collaboration with management and subject matter experts - Implement programs and facilitate training that address employee learning, development, and onboarding needs - Develop e-learning courseware bringing story elements to life with graphics and media using the Company's authoring and editing tools - Facilitate group processes, including, but not limited to, DiSC profile and leadership development cohorts - Counsel and coach management on matters of employee development and career planning that lead to an engaged team capable of achieving business goals General Employee Accountabilities - Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager - Give manager best advice - Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified - Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager - Exemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment - Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws - Recommend viable improvements proactively - Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in instructional design, training and development, human resources, business, psychology, education, related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience - 3 years of experience in instructional design, organizational development, training delivery and facilitation - Demonstrated experience using authoring tools - Demonstrated experience using virtual classroom technology - Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts - Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills - Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows - Availability to travel, domestically and internationally, less than 5% Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or certificate in Organizational Development - Demonstrated knowledge of Articulate Suite, Camtasia, and Adobe Captivate - Demonstrated knowledge of SumTotal Learn and SumTotal Talent - Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Whiteboard - Demonstrated experience using process consultation methodology - Demonstrated ability to learn and effectively apply AI-based productivity tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, or Synthesia to enhance communication, training logistics, or content delivery - Experience working in global engineering, technology, or industrial environment Link to TMEIC Corporation Americas website: https://www.tmeic.com/.
