Position Summary:
We
are looking for a highly motivated Research Assistant with a background in
microcontroller-basedvdata retrieval (e.g., Raspberry PI) and data analysis. The minimum required working hours per week are 10 hours.

Essential Functions:
The
research assistant will assist with:
-Sensing system design.
-Data measurement.
-Real-time data analysis, including visualization,
modeling, and the exploration of AI-related methods.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
-At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Preferred Qualifications:
-A
proven record of excellence in educational courses focused on relevant topics
such as sensor technology, data analysis, and cloud computing.
-Strong
problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively
are essential.

Salary Information:
-In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the hourly rate/range for this position is $20.00 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
