Summary of the Job:

The role of Community Development Strategy & Analysis serves as a lead responsible for overseeing and coordinating the lifecycle management of key community investments and operations of FNN Community Development Corporation ensuring effective community development investment and management for the company.

This includes planning, executing, and monitoring initiatives related to the impact investment portfolio and all assets of the Community Development Corporation including stakeholder management. The role requires a strategic thinker with enterprise project management expertise to align operations with broader corporate responsibility and compliance objectives.

About This Role:

Duties & Responsibilities

Portfolio Oversight & Documentation

  • Oversee the Community Development/Impact Investment Portfolio, including investment forecasting, budget planning, and performance tracking.
  • Actively plan, visualize and share vision for future community development investments and source partners as needed, internally and externally, to accomplish goals.
  • Facilitate project governance processes by overseeing FNN CDC Board and Loan & Investment Committee structure for Community Investment and Corporate Governance, ensuring accountability and timely decision-making.
  • Successfully implement Community Development Investment Strategy by managing timelines, resource allocation, risk, and budget; convening and facilitating regular meetings with key stakeholders to review progress and strategic alignment.
  • Support annual reviews of CD assets, and when needed perform detailed financial analysis and draft comprehensive investment and loan review memos with risk and market assessment recommendations. Work with key partners as needed to ensure review completion
  • Develop and manage document control systems to organize and track materials across all CD and FNBO CDC assets, including audits, financials, loan data, and insurance verification.
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure timely submission of regulatory filings, such as Public Welfare Investment (Part 24) notifications to the OCC.
  • Serve as the liaison between investment/loan project activities and internal departments such as compliance and accounting to ensure accuracy and consistency, and to streamline project documentation and reporting.
  • Manage the end-to-end servicing of FNBO loans and investments, stakeholder communication, and tracking/scheduling of ongoing project requirements.
  • Prepare governance and reporting materials for various committees, including structured agendas, status updates, financial reports, performance dashboards, and investment summaries.

Enterprise Project Leadership and Management

  • Ensure efficient initiative execution by coordinating operational workflows, tracking deliverables, and proactively managing issues with internal and external partners.
  • Maintain consistent stakeholder engagement and communications across all Impact Investing projects, ensuring alignment and transparency with internal and external partners.
  • Track and provide examples of key investments and community impact over time for sharing internally and externally.
  • Partner with leader of Community Development Corporation to facilitate strategic planning sessions, develop execution roadmaps, and manage cross-functional projects related to CSR/ESG initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, accounting, finance, investment strategy, environmental/climate policy, philanthropy, social responsibility, business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing community investment or banking initiatives, including hands-on project / customer management responsibilities.
  • Experience in leading high visibility or enterprise initiatives is a plus.
  • Experience in reputational risk strategy development and execution is a plus.
  • Experience in governance or committee project support/management is a plus.
  • Strong strategic and creative thinking skills with a project management mindset.
  • Learning on the fly- naturally curious, versatile learner, open to change, and knows when to ask for direction
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $95,857.00-$162,957.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
